The terms and conditions for Genesis Support trading as Fit to Fly UK are stated below. The term “we” refers to the owner of this website. The term “you” refers to the user of our website and services.
You are subject to the following terms of use while you browse and/or purchase our services as a service user.
- By continuing to browse on our website, you are automatically entering into an agreement to the terms and conditions of a user or viewer. You agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions together with the privacy policy stated. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, do not use the website or purchase our services.
- We endeavour to update and maintain accurate and up to date information on our website however do not guarantee this at all times due to the changing guidelines and guidance from the government surrounding Covid 19 testing.
- We do not take responsibility for any external advertisement or content external to Genesis Support found on this website.
- We do not guarantee all content is free from copy write however provide all information in line with government guidance in relation to SARs – Covid 19 testing.
- We reserve all rights to trade names, logos whether registered or unregistered.
Terms
We work in partnership with a trusted laboratory to provide SARs – Covid 19 testings’ for service users.
Our Organisation
- We do not provide medical advice or consultation by any healthcare professional. All services are solely for self – testing purposes and no face to face contact. The process of taking a sample can be invasive, if you’re unsure, take advice from your GP if you’re prone to nose bleeds or throat issues.
- All certificates provided where needed will solely communicate evidence based on the sample test results from the sample test provided.
- All doctors and healthcare professionals respectively will not be held accountable for results communicated should you wish to contest as these are tested in an external laboratory.
You agree to the following terms as a customer of Fit to Fly UK;
- You consent to the purchase of the sample test kit for the named personnel at check out and testing will be carried out on such personnel alone.
- You consent to obtaining your own sample for testing purposes alone. You understand that the process of obtaining a sample can be invasive and agree that if unsure you will take advice from your GP if you’re prone to nose bleeds or throat issues.
- You understand that the home test kit is to be used for screening purposes only as a convenient and confidential way of getting tested quickly for COVID-19 infection and detection and identification of the SARS-CoV-2 variant.
- You understand that the fit to fly certificate produced is solely based on the testing and results of your SARS-CoV-2 test sample and not a certificate produce for other medical purposes.
- You confirm that sample collection will be collected in line with instructions provided in the test kit.
- By completing your order purchase for the self-testing service, you agree that if found to have positive results of the SARS-Cov-2 or variants your personal information such as name, date of birth, ethnicity, address will be communicated to Public Health England (PHE) under government guidelines and agree with our privacy policy. For day 2 and 8, you agree to your information being communicated to PHE for all results in accordance with the Health Protection Regulation 2010 in reporting notifiable diseases . We and our subcontracted laboratory are legally required to share certain information with Public Health England. Your information will be used as part of test and trace service being operated by the government in your jurisdiction.
Ordering your Kit
You agree to the following terms as a customer of Fit to Fly UK;
- You agree payment has to be made in full for service to be rendered.
- You must be at least 18 years old to place an order for a home test kit. If you are under 18 years old and wish to place an order then a parent or guardian must place the order for the person under the age of 18 years old. Sample test collection must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
- You agree that all data required will be completed truthfully and is accurate with no intentions to mislead or deceive. You agree that you have checked to ensure the shipping address is accurate.
- You agree that once an order is placed and/or a confirmation order or booking reference number has been supplied you have no statutory right to cancel your order under any grounds. You understand that no booking reference is supplied for Day 5 Test to Release.
- You agree that you have checked the government list to which the country of departure is not listed on the red list countries prior to booking your home test kit.
- You understand you are unable to get a refund for all orders made prior to any changes regarding international travel. We are able to make amendments to your booking.
- You agree that you can not resell any test kits provided.
- You understand it is a criminal offence to deliberately intend to deceive or provide false or inaccurate information. You agree that all information provided is accurate and honest.
Delivery
You agree to the following terms as a customer of Fit to Fly UK;
- You understand that delivery partners will endeavour to deliver your home test kit and sample within the specified time and Fit to Fly UK can not be held responsible for delays in deliveries.
- You understand that compensation for late deliveries must be sort after directly from the delivery company.
- You agree that if your home test kit is damaged in the post you will notify Fit to Fly UK of possible contamination. A new test kit will be sent you. At this point, you are unable to request for a refund.
- All test kits are dispatched on the day of your arrival for day 2, day 5 and day 8. You will receive all other orders places by next day if order is placed before 1 pm.
- All orders placed over a bank holiday will be dispatched on the next working day arriving on the next working day.
- You agree to be at the shipping address to receive all orders despatched by Fit to Fly UK
- You agree that you will be liable for a redelivery fee of £15 for any orders returned by our courier due to refused delivery or wrong address being provided.
- You agree to notify Fit to Fly UK of any changes to your postal address. 48 hours prior to your arrival in the UK
- You will comply with government guidelines in the spread of Covid 19 by posting return test kits in the priority mail box. You can locate this via Royal Mail website. You agree to confirm delivery collection times from priority mailbox prior to collecting your sample.
- You acknowledge and agree that Royal Mail 24-hour delivery does not guarantee that the home test kit will be delivered within 24 hours of dispatch, and accordingly, we cannot make that promise to you. We will have no liability if you receive the home test kit after the date you expect and/or require, including for the avoidance of doubt, any liability to refund you for the Fee paid.
- You understand that delivery of your test kit to your shipping address is made by DPD for next day delivery if order is placed by 3pm BST and payment is received. DPD collection is Monday to Fridays. Orders are not dispatched on Sundays or Bank Holidays All results will be communicated to the email address provided. Test results will not be communicated via telephone by our administrative team.
- You can engage a private courier for the return of your sample if urgent. Fit to Fly UK does not take responsibility for this method of transportation or liability if samples are lost or damaged in transportation.
- Once a sample is dispatched it can not be returned due to Health protection regulations and infection control guidelines.
- You accept that the advised postal process will be adhered to and all samples will be posted via priority mail box.
- You understand that all samples collected over the weekend/bank holiday inclusive will be delivered to the laboratory on the next working day of subsequent day.
Collection of your Sample
You agree to the following terms as a customer of Fit to Fly UK;
- You agree to follow instructions provided in test kits for sample collection.
- You agree to collect sample from named person on order form or named person/s allocated on the barcode
- You agree to register your sample using sample registration form on our website. We do not take liability for samples not registered and delayed result reporting due to this.
- You agree to collect samples on the specified date and will not deviate from dates advised, for example day 2 samples will be collected on day 2 of arrival.
- You will appropriate seal sample collected and seal box provided.
- For test to release only, please collect sample only from on or after the 5th day of your return to the UK from a country not listed on the travel corridor list on the gov.uk website.
- We will not refund all or part of the Fee if a Sample was not received by us or has not been taken in accordance with the User Instructions or has degraded for any reason including because of a delay in delivery or damage during delivery. If this happens, we will notify you accordingly, and you can purchase another home test kit
Results Reporting
You agree to the following terms as a customer of Fit to Fly UK;
- We endeavour to report test results within 24 (Fit to Fly & Test to Release) – 36 hours (Day 2, Day 2 & 8) of receipt of sample to the laboratory.
- You understand that test results will be reported electronically to your email and confirm email address supplied is correct.
- You agree that should you test positive for Covid 19 and /or variants at day 2 testing you are unable to return your day 8 test kits to our warehouse for public safety reason
- We are not liable for loss incurred as a result of inconclusive tests. You have the responsibility to ensure all samples are collected from the named persons at purchase using instructions manual provided. It is an offence to collect samples from any one not named at purchase with intentions to deceive or alter outcome of results.
- You understand that a positive result indicates a suspected COVID 19 infection. If this is the case, you are required to seek advice from your primary health care provider. Fit to Fly UK Doctors do not provide consultations and/or provide health care related advice.
- Fit to Fly UK can not compensate you for loss of earnings due to a positive test result.
General
- We reserve the right to protect our staff from abuse, violence and threats. All such behaviour will be reported to the police if needed.
- You agree that once a booking reference has been allocated to you or order is complete, your order can no longer be cancelled and/or refunded.
- You agree that you are liable to an administration fee of £15 per order for any changes made to testing programme where a partial refund is concern
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and each party hereby irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
